Wow. Chrys & I started this blog in August of 2008. I was realizing how many posts we have for decorating and design help for your home. It's been a labor of love!

If you check out the "Helping You Decorate" list on the right of the blog, we have such an amazing archive. From Art Smart to Color & Paint; from Chandeliers to Design Tip of the Week, I'm just really proud of all Chrys and I have compiled for you our readers to be inspired...and to hopefully save a little money! :)

Friday Finds ~ HGTV Dream Home 2011

HGTV announced their brand New Dream Home 2011 contest. Enter here to win their latest dream home in Stowe, Vermont (shown above via HGTV).

I love everything that goes into the building of these homes. From selecting the property site, to the construction, then my fav the interior design ~ I've kept my eye on this Dream Home giveaway for years now and it's always fun checking them out.

Here are the HGTV Dream Homes from the last 15 years! Which one is your favorite?

My 2 personal favorites are the HGTV Dream Home 2010 (Sandia Park, NM) and the HGTV Dream Home 2008 (Islamorada, FL). I just love the design of the house on the exterior and the interior of those 2 in particular, but they did a beautiful job on all of them!

Notice Anything Different?!

Good Morning Everyone! Yes this is exactly what I look like when I write this blog...like Carrie Bradshaw with a fancy feather shawl on...right! :) That's actually what Chrys looks like when she writes the blog up North in Washington, DC...here in Miami I'm in my bikini! ;)

Notice anything different today about our blog??? We decided after 2 years of a beautiful blog design to switch it up a bit. You still get the same ol' P4D look for the most part, bare with us we are almost done with the complete look, a few tweaks still to come.

Our Faves ~ Shopping for a Cause

Good morning! I have to say I love shopping, but I love shopping even better when I know the money is going to a good cause. Check out this gorgeous pillow cover from The Hunger Site store. It is an Indian Appliqué Pillow Cover based on Indian floor paintings called Mandanas. The colorfully patterned appliqué of the Tree of Life comes in Blue or Green. It's a perfect way to bring in a global, earthy feel to a room. Purchasing this pillow will fund 25 cups of food, it doesn't get much better then that!
