It's that time of assemblage again--Awards Season! I don't know about you, but terminal night's Golden Globes commonly marks my countdown to the Oscars and a lot of terminal time movie-viewing. That's a lie. I commonly watch for the dresses.

But let's not overlook (or forget that we're at work) another exciting awards program. The Brit Insurance Design Awards announced their 2010 shortlist today across heptad industry sectors: architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics, interactive, creation and transport. Antony Gormley module be chairing the jury, which module superior the heptad finalists announced on March 4, and an overall winner on March 16.

Looking at Tony and Eva Worobiec's photographs of margin diners, motels and cinemas in Icons of the Highway, a new exhibition at The National Trust's Fox discoverer Museum, you crapper easily imagine Jack Kerouac stopping for a swing of apple pie on that first travelling 'Out West' to Denver.
